It was non other than Dr. Morag who stated that he used to know Kinoshita from when he worked for ToyCo "under the father of the current CEO" - which would be Timmy II.
BTW, I only found out about the real life Kinoshita, when I asked Jay about the flavor text of this 30 Days entry.
(Jay also says that in-universe, the robot in the 30 Days entry would be the creation of the father of ToyCo's Kinoshita.)
